Job Description:
Supports Global Pharmacovigilance with an emphasis on assigned investigational products
Duties and Responsibilities
• Support Global Pharmacovigilance
• Serve as a resource for the Medical Information and Quality Control teams
• Serve as named clinical safety medical advisor for selected drug development programs
• Communicate effectively in safety matters with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Teams, Statistics, Data Management, Marketing, and the Legal Department
• Provide advice regarding investigations of special questions regarding safety of investigational and marketed products
• Handle adverse events according to national and international regulatory requirements
• Ensure accurate Med DRA coding of adverse events from all sources
• Ensure due diligence in characterizing adverse events
• Implement formal signalling procedures and chair the signalling meeting for selected products
• Schedule and chair the safety working group meetings for assigned products
• Characterize expected rates of key adverse events in target populations
• Participate in product labeling decisions when applicable
• Provide expert advice on medical matters in general, and specifically on safety-related issues concerning investigational compounds
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
• M.D. degree or equivalent plus 3+ years practical clinical experience
• Experience interacting effectively with staff of multiple disciplines both within and outside the company both nationally and internationally
• Ability to manage/supervise activities in a fast paced and changing environment to ensure objectives are met in a timely manner and achieved within budget allocations
• Knowledge of safety database(s)
Additional Qualifications
• Graduate training/experience resulting in board eligibility/certification preferred
• Post-graduate training in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics a plus
• Specialization and experience in oncology strongly preferred
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical medical research with specific experience in product safety/Pharmacovigilance/benefit-risk optimization
• Experience with Individual Case Safety Report handling, PSUR and variation preparation, and Med DRA preferred
• Expertise in clinical research and safety activities in a pharmaceutical/biotech company as well as experience in pharmacy epidemiology research a plus.

• The Data Integration (ETL) Technical Lead will design the data integration architecture; perform all typical data integration tasks, and day-to-day operations.
• This is a hands-on position with significant responsibilities in delivering the first phase of business intelligence and data warehouse.
• The candidate will work with different groups within the Information Services Department and users at the Client site.
Key responsibilities are as follows
• Design ETL processes and data flows from multiple source systems to EDW. Develop source to target data mapping, transformation rules, and error handling for ETL processes.
• Perform data profiling to understand the source system data.
• Work closely with database administration team and ensure the database is architected and designed to handle concurrent ETL and reporting query jobs.
