Life Systems, Inc. is a growing medical device and repair organization based in metro-St. Louis and we have an immediate need for a full-time Field Service Representative within a territory that includes the state of Colorado.
The successful candidate will provide the key link between Life Systems, Inc., our customers and future clients. This person is responsible for ensuring overall customer satisfaction for repair services and sales of refurbished/new equipment. In addition, the FSR will need to build relationships with prospects and clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
This representative will also be responsible for providing equipment support through troubleshooting as well as education to existing clients. Intensive training will be provided.
A professional company image must be projected through personal and telephone interaction.
This person will be responsible for building relationships with call points in the following areas: Endoscopy / GI Lab, Surgery / O.R. and Pulmonary Function Departments of hospitals as well as freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
This position includes a base salary, health benefits and 401K.
Traditional work hours are 7:00AM - 4:00PM.
Candidate can live within any part of Colorado, however he/she must be willing to travel within the territory.
This role will report to the Regional Director of Business Development for this territory and will be based out of a home office environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sales of equipment repair services and refurbished equipment.
• Answer calls regarding equipment set-up / troubleshooting, respond to customer requests.
• Responsible for equipment pick-up / delivery (when necessary).
• Provide on-going customer competency education through in-services and presentations.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Meticulously utilizes CRM system and computer hardware/software to enhance productivity. Prepare and submit on a timely basis all activities and reports requested by management.
• Participate in all local trade shows and educational conferences as well as some regional or national events. Typically one, single-day event per year.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
This position is entry level. We will provide successful candidate with training during ramp up. Qualified applicants must have 1-2 years of outstanding experience working in a B2B or customer service setting in which both phone and/or face-to-face interactions with customers were constant. Candidate must have excellent attention to detail and possess proficient communication and computer skills.
A positive, company attitude with a strong work ethic are also a must.
Minimum qualifications to be considered are:
• Education/Experience - Associate’s Degree and at least 1-2 years of successful selling or customer service with direct interaction; technology and/or service-based field preferred.
• Superior communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills required.
• Ability to learn quickly, works reliably and accurately, and performs well as self-directed team member.
• Computer Proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM software.
