1. RF Instrumentation Usability Engineer
Berean group is seeking a RF Instrumentation Usability Engineer Location:             Austin, TX Duration:            Full time Citizenship / Work Authorization:   Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Core Job Responsibilities • Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and project  managers to define the user experience for new and existing products • Ensure consistency both within and across RF software products • Document usability design decisions for individual features as well as  product-level design guidelines • Drive usability from concept to completion by providing constant usability  feedback while accounting for technical implementation limitations • Facilitate prioritization of features between staged product releases Position Requirements • Ability to relocate to Austin, TX • Minimum five consecutive years of relevant, full-time industry experience • B.S. or M.S. in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics or physics engineering • Solid understanding of RF concepts • Extensive experience performing real world measurements using RF instruments • Basic familiarity with a wide variety of RF instruments with extensive knowledge  in a subset of instruments • Basic understanding of programming/software development to appreciate design  trade-offs Preferred Knowledge/Experience • Experience using Agilent and Rohde & Schwarz spectrum analyzers and RF  signal generators • Experience programming RF instrumentation for automated applications • Experience educating customers on using RF instrumentation through teaching classes, writing application notes, and providing customer support • Experience mapping customer requirements into specific settings on an instrument. • Knowledge of instrument settings required to perform RF measurements and the steps necessary to optimize the results.
